The audiovisual exhibition „LastingLines“ was presented on August 1–2, 2026, as part of the „Kunstzeit“ event at ZahnAmBach in Prien am Chiemsee.

Displayed within a 9-by-6-meter black room were six DIN A2 color photographs, five DIN A4 black-and-white photographs, and a rear-projected film (in portrait format, measuring 1.2 x 2.2 meters).

The photographic prints—inkjet on paper—were manually embellished with lines of red acrylic paint. The projected films show the creation of these lines. By precisely controlling the lighting of the photographs, a clear link was established between the 11 films and the 11 photographs. The films have a total runtime of 8.5 minutes.

The project highlights both the parallels and the differences between painting and the act of skiing graphic freeride lines. It underscores the transience of tracks in the snow, as well as their uniqueness, irreversibility and one-shot character.
The organic natural motifs on display stand in strong contrast to the technical, linear execution.
This creates a graphic expression born of inspiration, scenery, and movement.

Technical autonomy made it possible to simultaneously act as filmmaker, photographer, and skier.
To give visitors a better understanding of this project and its execution as a „one-man show,“ a 360-degree action camera and a foldable mini-drone were also put on display.

Over the course of a single weekend, the exhibition’s more than 100 visitors could choose to explore the space and exhibits at their own pace or let themselves be guided by the film, sound, and lighting.

All the mountain motifs shown are located well above 3,000 meters above sea level.
Consequently, traveling light was crucial to the project’s realization. Consumer-grade cameras were used; their light weight allowed for complete freedom in choosing routes and subjects.

All footage was captured within a radius of less than 4 km around the Wildspitze (3,770 m) between April 25 and May 3, 2026.
